I hope this blog finds you happy, healthy, and thriving. And if you’re not any of those things, then perhaps the enclosed letters will meet you with whatever it is you might need.
Each one is crafted by me. I’m Becca Brown, a rookie writer stepping out on a limb to pursue a long-lost dream of sharing my writing. I live in the Metro-Atlanta area with my husband, Ben, and our two cats. I currently teach elementary school, but writing is something that fills my soul.
Between me and my tattered journals, I am a very experienced writer. My journals know each up and down life has brought me. Every embarrassing moment, joyous victory, or broken dream. Between me and the world, I have no idea what I am doing. This “sharing” thing is incredibly odd for me, but it also excites me. These letters to you are inspired by the words I scribe in my journal every single day.
The starting of this blog came from the realization that at our cores, vulnerability is what we all long for in each other. To feel truly connected with someone’s story, regardless of its magnitude.
I hope these letters are sophisticated enough for you to see a new perspective, playful enough for you to chuckle, and authentic enough for you to know that you are not alone in whatever chaos this life brings you.
